Title: Neodymium engraved vases
Post by: ahremck on August 09, 2011, 11:58:12 AM
I recently bought a pair of vases because one has what I think is an Orrefors 'Of' signature.  I am hoping for confirmation - personally I feel they are Orrefors.  Turn pale blue next to a fluorescent light.  About 8" high.

I am wondering when they might have been made and if possible who designed them?

I think this may be Caithness.

I have to agree.  In Mark hill's book page 112 there is a vase CT 210 Flower Bud Vase which has the same engraving as far as I can tell.

The list of known engravers has two with AS = Annabel Smith & Alan Sutherland so presumably one of them signed my vase.

Thanks to all.
