Title: green glass BESSI eagle decanter

Hi, trying to ID this 11 inch green glass Bessi eagle. It has the name on the base Bessi and the word patented with 3 letters which i cannot read on the base.       Any idea,s  of maker and date please.

I'm not sure that's Bessi, but it looks like BE5 something.  Maybe a model number.  It looks like the kind of thing that might have been made in Empoli, Italy.

Hi Greg, the link bird shown looks very similar The base of my bird does show 3 letters in the middle of the base and i am thinking  it is ESA.? The dreamers one looks a dead ringer. It also seems like some are embossed on the base and some are not?

Hi Greg, the 1st letter does look like the letter E ? followed by SA.

Looks like a promotional bottle made for Jim Beam Whiskey, if it does read LSA, (difficult to read from photo), there's a good possibility that it was produced by Krosno.

Funny what you come across on the web, if it is Jim Beam, these are your people! Jim Beam decanters collecting club! Although many ceramic there are a few glass ones...might be worth emailing them.

It's not the sort of thing usually produced by Krosno; that's hand blown. This was made in a bottle factory. The patented implies to me that it might be American.
