Can anyone advise me if these pieces were made by Loetz?
Many thanks.

Do make sure to search this board - there has been an extensive discussion about these.

if you scroll down the page on this link to David Littlefields site there is some information on there as well regarding these jugs

Ok great. Much appreciated - both of you.

Probably the picture I know, but this almost looks like a molded crackled pattern, is it?

Thanks M, but unfortunately most of the links no longer function, only the picture comparing three jugs is visible. I asked about the molded pattern because of the striking similarity to a crackle developed by McKee here in the U.S. (early 30's) called Innovation Crackled Glassware which included a wide variety of pieces, bowls, jugs (mostly covered), decanters, etc,. The middle jug's pattern pictured in the most recent post simply reminded me of the Innovation line. Evidently molded crackle was also in europe. Attached is an Innovation barrel decanter & although the picture isn't very good, you'll just have to take my word that the crackle pattern in the jug shown is very close to a ringer for the Innovation line by McKee if you had them side by side. I was just curious about your european molded crackle. Ken

As far as I can tell, the jug that I posted appears to be the same as the Smrckova Jug posted on the other discussion thread. As you say, a lot of the links no longer function, but that's what I've taken away from it...
