hi all
Got this blue tinted glass, it's rather nice (i like it anyway). Sort of Art Deco (ish), very small, what might it have been used for? Did i see a range of larger peices somewhere with the side inversed wing things that were attributed to the Davidson glass works?
Dimensions; 3.5" across .75" deep

Reminds me of some vases and bowls by Stolzle (Czech). Just about to have tea but I'll check later if no one beats me to it (more than welcome to!) ;)

Can't spot it in the catalogues on Marcus' Sklo Union CD, but compare the winged sides to some of these examples:

Hard to say for certain, but they look related to me. I think it might be described as a "pin dish" by the way.

Fabulous catalogue of glass Wayne....getting bigger all the time!!
I love Art Deco glass Malc, and if you haven't already done so you might like to add Pamela's Pressed glass site to your list of places to visit when looking to identify pressed glass. It is:

It certainly looks like Stolzle to me, but could yet end up being something else!
