Another taller candlestick to go with smaller single banded one I already have which has formerly been ID'd as Reducta Poland 1970s
Thanks Adam

Reducta had to be an importer as I've never heard of it. I suspect the vases were made at HS Tarnowiec in the 70s or 80s. :hi:

Yep Reducta was the UK importer:

Anik can you point me in the right direction for more info on HS Tarnowiec please? Don't think I've heard about them before, would be interesting to see what else they made. I'll have a search of the board now...

Brief mention of Reducta being a London dealer here:

Hi Wayne,
Unfortunately, I know very little about Polish glass. HST (see here: http://www.baza-firm.com.pl/dzialy/bazafirm/fullinfo.php?lg=_pl&idk=15449&st=Huta_Szk%B3a_Tarnowiec_Sp._z_o.o.-Szk%B3o,wyroby_szklane-Tarnowiec ) was more of a guess than anything. I'll check my books tomorrow and see if I can find anything similar to the pieces above.
:hi:

Wayne, there are several earlier topics on the board about Tarnowiec - pop it inot the Search function and you'll see some interesting examples. Sue (chopin-liszt) has some big ones I seem to recall.

Thanks for the link Anik, it had some good info. It's a shame their website is down now, I'll try emailing them though.
Anne, thanks, I've had a search of the board, and found quite a range of their products.
