Title: Two Early C20th Pieces
Post by: tangoman68 on August 19, 2011, 12:43:34 PM
I've recently bought a couple of items that are quite nice but have no history. The green vase has no markings whatsoever and the yellow cakestand just has 'Made in England' on it. I was wondering if any other forum users can scour their memories / catalogues and give me any additional information?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

You are much better posting each item in a separate thread; it saves confusion and make it easier for the moderators to file resolved queries. Also dimensions and base shots are useful for all items.

Your amber sandwich/cake plate is the Bagley "fishscale" pattern, No. 3067, probably 1950s/60s judging by the handle. (Fishscale was made earlier too.)

I've never seen your vase before though
