Title: Decorated Bohemian URANIUM/VASELINE tumbler
Post by: mrvaselineglass on February 18, 2006, 01:34:44 AM
Hello all
Just wanted to show this for a couple of reasons.
1) thought some might like to see this piece
2) outside chance someone has an opinion where it was made.

I sent the photo to Siegmar Geiselberger, and he thought mid to late 19th Century Bohemian, so I figure that is about the best I am gonna get on it.
The flat panels are cut or shaped, and there is a diamond cut into the base.  Terrific wear on the underside.  Also rings like a bell.  The decoration is all original and all there!

Excuse my bumping this very old thread, but I wondered whether it might now be possible to get further with the decoration on this piece.
