Title: Blue Small Ashtray..... "CZECH " it out!! ID = Hanus for Jablonecke Sklarny
Post by: antiquerose123 on August 24, 2011, 01:52:18 AM
 :hi:

This has a Czech label on it, so that is for sure.  Looks like a little ashtray....so I am wondering IF there might have been a boxed set of them.  I know someone had a post here of a set of boxed hearts ashtrays, or clover leaves.  So wondering If this might be the same idea being so small.....?

What year made, etc ?

Thanks for any info, GMB friends!!  :kissy:

Hi Rose,
Your ashtray was designed by Vaclav Hanus for Jablonecke Sklarny, pattern number 32736.  If you take a look at the 1964/6 edition of the CGR (on Jindrich's site), you'll see a box in the background: https://picasaweb.google.com/Jindra8526/Glasrevue19646?authkey=Gv1sRgCJ_i7JrP0uzQugE#5442263004388857666

I believe the ashtray came in two sizes, 11,5cm and 20,5cm long.
