I have been reading this message board for some time and have found it very informative.
My main interest is paperweights and I am learning little by little thanks to forums like yours!
I have purchased three paperweights today, two I have been lucky enough to identify as by the
Correia Studion, Santa Monica. I will show these in a new thread, they are so beautiful.
Can you help me identify the third paperweight? I have tried to show the marking underneath as best I
can. The hand etching looks like K Ml Posseay, Sweden, M489 but I am probably way out - the scratches
underneath don't help!
I have attempted to load pictures but they are too big so I have loaded on Photo bucket, here goes with
links:

Many thanks.

Welcome to the Glass Message Board!
It looks like it might say F M Ronneby, Sweden? :)

It looks like it says FM Ronneby Sweden, then the number. Nice paperweight!
Added: I see Max was answering, too. So please accept this as a verification and another welcome.

Yes, I can see that now, well that gives me a starting point!
Thanks to you both.
It is very nice, huge though, weighs 1.078k or 2lb 6oz in old money.

Hi,
The signature reads FM Ronneby Sweden.
Here are a couple of pictures from my FM/Marcolin collection.

Hi Inca
Thanks for sharing your pics. These paperweights certainly are different!
Not to my taste unfortunately so I am going to sell mine on hopefully to
someone who will appreciate it more :)
Best wishes to all on GMB.
