Title: Toothy Imperial Glass Woodchuck Figurine
Post by: horochar on September 03, 2011, 11:37:55 AM
This feller's pretty cute.  Heavy piece, not marked.  Somebody has slag glass version of the same currently on eBay, with no attribution.  Other internet searches indicate it's Imperial Glass.  My question would be, how old?  1950s?

Thanks,
Charles.

My glass animal book doesn't say when it was made but my guess is 40s-50s. He sure is cute.

This http://www.imperial-glass.info/1966Catalog/p48.htm (http://www.imperial-glass.info/1966Catalog/p48.htm) catalog page shows it being made in 1966, along with a bunch of the animal molds they got from Heisey.

Was this also made by Heisey? Not shown in Garman or Coe books?
