Since I hadn't previously seen this mark (in fact don't think I have any catering suppliers or wholesalers back stamps) - thought it might be of interest. A whiskey tumbler probably, and height is about 4.3/8" - 110mm, and unfortunately, I had to buy four of them, as the guy wouldn't sell me just one. I have looked on the www and believe this may well be an existing company (in Manchester), although seems they have added an 's' to their name. They describe themselves as 'Suppliers to the catering trade since 1868'. and offer to supply just about every conceivable item to do with their trade. Date wise, I'm slightly taking a punt, but would say somewhere within the period 1950 - 1966. Anyone thinks I'm wrong with these details, please do say so. :) Anyone want three whiskey tumblers - going cheap ;)

sorry, meant to add that I'm assuming that Webb's would have been responsible for adding the back stamp??
