Measures 15.5 cm tall and the base is flat.

This reminds me of Caithness neodymium?  possibly.

Is it possible to use a plain white background for your photos.  It is very hard to assess the true colour.  I often use an artist paint board (unused of course) and to avoid flash complications I try to take photos outside away from the house(because too close will be too blue due to refraction.  It is also better to avoid direct sunlight as reflections & refraction lead to complications.

The colour in the photographs is a pretty good representation of the vases actual colour, but I appreciate what you mean about lighting.
