Title: Red, Sparkly green & White single facet cut paperweight for id
Post by: yesvil on September 07, 2011, 05:45:32 PM
I think this must be quite new - it looks very clean.

The base is flat and polished with the edge nicely rounded. Overall it looks quite well finished. I'm guessing nothing special but would be good to get a positive id.

The height is about 60/70mm ~Adam

Not sure about this, but it could be a faceted version of the Strathearn "Cyclone" design. However it is not in usual Strathearn colours (white, orange, yellow, blue).

See Richard More's site for more info.

Thank you Kevin.

I found the Strathearn "Cyclone" weight and I can see similarities:

The one I have though does have an internal layer of small controlled bubbles.  This can be seen towards the top right-hand corner of the weight that has the facet facing the front. Probably best to use the Flickr link (No 2) as it shows a full size pic.
