Title: Tornado swirls i/d ?
Post by: malcmat on September 10, 2011, 07:13:10 PM
Hi, this p/w has what i see as tornado swirls with colours of lime green/white and a minute colour of brown. It also has some random bubbles and is 2.75 inches dia and 2.5 inches tall.
The flatish base has a rough finish, any help with the i/d would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Malc

Hi Malc. This swirled style is relatively simple to make, and many small studios - as well as more prominent makers - have produced pieces like this over many years.  It is quite hard to identify a specific maker, country or even age unless there is some maker's mark in the base, or label, or other clue.
