Hit an outdoor sale this morning & they had this as a lamp shade only lamp shades are not usually found encrusted with a few decades of dirt not to mention 3" of packed dirt & twigs in the bottom. I'm fairly certain its a hanging planter of some type as there are areas of very slight wear on the sides plus some minor were on the ground rim where a holder & chain might have been. 12" height, 6" diameter, 9/16" thick ground rim & weight of 4 lbs. (a little heavy for a shade) with a crackle effect. Did Rindskopf, Kralik, etc. make any hanging planters? Thanks, Ken

I don't want to violate any rules & wish to repost this to another section as I meant to originally post this to the Bohemian, Czech, & Austrian glass category & made a posting error so would a moderator kindly move it to that section. Thanks, Ken

Ken, we'd prefer to leave it here until we get a feel for where it's from. Glass is the right place for ID requests. We can move topics once we know where they hail from.
