Title: more information on Murano decanter signed 'Progetti'
Post by: BrunoD on September 16, 2011, 01:32:51 PM
I've been trying to find out more about this nice decanter.

It seems to be from Murano, and is signed 'Progetti', but I wasn't able to identify the glassworks it is from or the artist that made it.

Can anyone help me with this?

Many Thanks
BrunoD

Progetto is the Italian word for "project" and Progetti is the plural. There are tons of companies thus called - so my guess, corporate gift. From Murano.

Many thanks for your reply.
Seems indeed a good explanation. I should have thought of it myself.

Can you find a number on the VM label. We know the companies for many of the numbers. Maybe we'll know yours. (looks like the label may be too worn to read the number)

The number is unreadable. It's not worn, I think is was never well printed.
