Title: Iridescent vase - signed
Post by: heartofsklo on September 16, 2011, 08:12:03 PM
The vase measures 11cm tall and is a smokey grey with light blue spatters. The base is etched signed  as per images 2, there is also what looks like "SPACS" (or SPACE) and the date "1985".

 :hi:

Could we get a couple more shots of the signature, for some variations to *what* we may think we see...

Thanks  :kissy:

Thanks for sharing that link Christine.

The vase above appears to have a date of 1985. Has Shaks been going that long? I looked on the website and there is no 'history' wage and the copyright date is 2005.

Definitely does not look like "Shaks" when I look at it under a glass. Looks more like "space". The only connection between 1985 and space I can find is the following - In 1985 the "space" shuttle Atlantis (OV-104) made its first flight. I know, clutching at straws is a game I play often when it comes to my glass IDs.

... and the vase doesn't look much like the other Shakspeare glass on the website
