This lamp has a signature which I can not make out and because of the dark background this is the best picture
I could get...Any and all help would be appreciated in the ID'ing of this lamp.
It was bought in Atlanta several years ago. It is about 20" tall.
Thank you all,
Tony

Date looks like 78 or 98, latter seems likely, and looks like a long name starting Fell... or Fall... probably US origin too, although Italy not impossible.
-
Can make out 78 and the person I bought it from thought it to be made in New York, USA other than that he could not tell me the artists name.

Hi there
it looks very nice i must say.
If you pop a little talc powder on the signiture and wipe off the excess you may get a better view what it says.
Might be worth taking 4 or 5 pics from all different angles to

I have no idea but it's lovely :rah:

Tried the talc as suggested and here is what I got. Hope it helps . :)

;D Much better!
It looks as if it reads Fellerman, '76.
No Fellermans in the index of my American Studio glass book, though. (might be, in the text. the index isn't great)

Could be Stephen Fellerman.....

Oh well done, you two, that looks like a real possibility. I have to say that that is a VERY beautiful lamp! Very. :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp:

Oh thank you all so much...after a little research on "Stephen Fellerman" and viewing some of his other works and a lamp very much like my own...plus the comparison of signatures I believe with about 99% accuracy it is STEPHEN FELLERMAN.
I could have never done this on my own...
Thank you all,
Tony :hiclp:

Tony, thought I would just add a link to the other Stephen Fellerman lamp for reference, the one below dates to 1979.
