My beloved daughter on her last trip to the UK , braved Portobello Rd ( its a crowd thing) and bought me a retro kingfisher blue jug like this one
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WHITEFRIARS-9419-RETRO-RUBY-GLASS-JUG-6-1-2-INCH-/120775612782?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item1c1ec9996e
And no sooner had I walked in the door that I tripped hit the wall and smashed it to smithereens. I haven't the heart to tell her, but I am having a dreadful time trying to find one by online or ebay sites. Is there someone or somewhere you could recommend me to that may have the jug, so I can replace it and she will never know the difference. She was so excited. I just feel awful.
Thanks

Harder to find in kingfisher than ruby, keep searching ebay and elsewhere. You could try asking on www.whitefriars.com (on the forum 'General Whitefriars Glass Discussion' not on 'Is It') in case anyone has a spare.

Good luck, will keep an eye out for you on my travels. I did read somewhere over there on 'The Dark Side' that a few jugs were also made in one of the FLC ambers but not sure if it was this pattern number.

I did see one for sale in the link below, although I think its a slightly smaller size to the one you originally had, if it was exactly the same size as the ruby one shown in the first link.
Just in case, link below.....
