I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's seen these but a while ago I saw a pretty white opalescent 'ish' vase round lalique type thing vase, with a swooping bird/soaring bird or seagull with open wings on it (ok possibly an eagle maybe lol). I thought it was quite nice so I noticed it. I've just recently seen about 7 listed and found one that is a perfume bottle but the same design. Not sure where they are made but I thought the one I saw had Czechoslovakia on it? However one mention recently says they are new. Anyone seen these?

Czechoslovakia split twenty years ago so it cannot be that recent.

HI Ivo
I know... that's why I'm questioning how come I have seen 7 listed recently. I saw one a couple of weeks ago and I did think (but can't be sure) that had Czechoslovakia impressed on it). However I am now wondering why I am seeing so many appearing including a perfume bottle all in the same week?

ah.... ok three were available here and the ad mentions 'handfinished in Prague'
perhaps that is what I rememebered....mmm I still think I saw something very similar with Czechoslovakia on it.
I will hunt around more.

ok :-[ I found the vase I was thinking of and it's nothing like it apart from a vague similarity and the bird wings - I kept looking at these when I saw them and wondered how I could possibly have liked the look of the vase I'd seen recently :-[ obviously I now know why...not the same thing at all ;D
