Can anyone help me identify the manufacturer of this shade? It's very reminiscent of Dartington and Frank Thrower. As always, many thanks for your help. Kind regards Sarah

Could well be Dartington , could even be Scandinavian Riihimaki ? maybe.

Could well be Dartington
Riihimaki
Both seem very unlikely unless special commissions. This would be a mass-produced item for a start. Lighting is often near impossible to ID because it was/is often made for the light-fitting manufacturers rather than for wholesalers to sell to retailers.

I think I have only seen these in amber before, no idea of maker.

Much nicer in clear.
I have always wondered about these shades and assumed that they were used the other way up, I was not convinced that they were even shades... :-[ Seeing Sarah's with the hanging fitting makes much more sense. ;D
Does the spiky bit on the bottom act like a lens?

I'm sure I've seen a vase on ebay this week, with that design. The owner didn't have an attribution for it though.
And I've seen it in vase form before. Not very helpful information I know, but I feel it has come in vase form as well.
