Title: Deliberate misattribution on Ebay
Post by: ahremck on October 06, 2011, 11:52:15 AM
The current Ebay listing

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEAUTIFUL-ISLE-WIGHT-STUDIO-GLASS-CONICAL-PAPERWEIGHT-NIGHT-SEA-/350495168022?pt=UK_Art_Glass&hash=item519b23d616

is not 'IOW Night Sea' as you can see if you consult  http://www.artiusglass.co.uk/id9.html where a genuine one is shown.

I have contacted this person when he had more photos up the last time he listeed this item, and the base is signed MSH = Mount St. Helens Glass from USA.

I do not know how to contact Ebay(UK) effectively to stop this deliberate misrepresentation.  Perhaps someone over there has a workable method.

Ross, you can report the item to ebay, click the 'Report item' button - right hand side of the screen, below seller info and item info.

Also, the studio is on the south coast not the west coast.... ;D
