A lovely Val St Lambert red cut vase measuring just over 27cm in height, it is very thick walled and signed "Val St Lambert" to the base.

I've been through Pamela's site, although regret to say can't see this particular pattern, although I may well have missed seeing it. You don't say whether or not you have looked through the Masterbuch site, so might suggest you double check, in Belgium, of course :) http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/

Yes, I have looked through the site but there are no ruby (flash cut?) pieces there. I have found very little about this type of Val St Lambert glass so far.
-
My apologies, I had given the Pavillon link, and meant to give the Masterbuch link, which is http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/ - sorry.
-
Thanks for the link Paul. I have looked through all of the pages but cannot see the same design anywhere.

Hello HoS,
I don't know if it's apropriate tp reply to an older post, please correct me if so.
Your vase is called model 'Altena' and is made in 1972, also exists in green.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Anne, all relevant information is appreciated I would think.

We welcome answers to queries of any age here, Anne. I think the record is an ID for a post more than 5 years old - we never stop looking for the answers to queries, even if it takes us a while. :)
