Post by: abc on October 16, 2011, 12:14:05 PM
Hello ,
I have this vase which i have found and it is has a lot of base wear as well as some build up of many years of dirt inside . I have never seen one like it before because it has a waxy finish and it not glossy , can anyone identify the maker or age please , thanks Glyn

I still can't place it but it does remind me a bit of my Ruckl vase in the finish, very flat.  I do wonder if it is Czechoslovakian.  Sorry I can't help more but I've never seen another like it.  It might be good to have a photo that is side on so you can see how the foot is applied.  Is the foot applied to the vase base?  or is the vase hollow right down to the foot?

Odd, foot almost looks hollow and applied, is the foot open inside? In which case it is not very likely applied.
