Title: Lampwork figure 3-crawling babies by Ivana Vanická Kudrnáčová
Post by: flying free on October 16, 2011, 09:48:52 PM
this is the last set
they have such amazing little faces, minute noses and a sort of quaint 30's 40's hairstyle with a quiff at the front as though neatly brushed lol. They just look like they come from an old-fashioned story book somehow.  Their hands are opalescent glass.
Any thoughts much appreciated.
Thank you  :sun:

The look a bit like Qupie dolls... that might help date them.

Update time!!
Well, you all know that I NEVER give up trying to identify glass!!
I am pleased to let you all, especially m , that I have found the maker of these adorable little babies.
I have cherished them, kept them with my Komaromy collection and just recently found out the maker.
I am a member of the Vintage Glass Animals & Figures from Zelesny Brod group on Facebook, and I showed these to the group, asking who they thought might have made them.
To my utter delight, I had a reply!!
They were made by Ivana Vanická Kudrnáčová
I am awaiting further information,  and as soon as I get it,  I will let you all know. :)
