This is a very pretty stein, i have had for years, ive looked up Queen Lace but all i come up with is glass wear with animals etched on it. This stein is different, the two flowers are different, in one flower has 9 pedals and the one under it has 10 on both sides. then in the middle there is another pattern,

Hmmm there's not much about them anywhere is there? :( It might be an idea to email the company with photos and ask if it's one of theirs: http://www.queenlacecrystal.com/contact.html it might have been a special order for a particular retailer, or a discontinued line, or something like that.

I'm pretty sure Queen Lace was an import company in the US. I've got the label below on an 'Andromeda" vase from Skrdlovice, Czechoslovakia. I've also seen it on other pieces of glass from other European countries.
I hope the company has kept good records.
Good luck.

I would look through some of the German (Frankreich) and Czech (Bohmen) catalogues here http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/
You can usually see from the thumbnails which pages to look closely at, so you don't need do every page

Judging by the CZ label posted by David you can be fairly confident that this stein was made in Germany and exported by Queen lace to Ca/US. I would guess 1950-1970, probably made by an eventually identifiable reputable German glassworks. I would be interested in hearing any information you may be able to get from the regarding their activities in the old Czechoslovakia-Germany. Given the likely date of the Andromeda label maybe it is possible it could have been an East or West German glassworks...
