Title: Clear vase with applied yellow handles and a polished pontil mark
Post by: dorian_graye on October 23, 2011, 04:44:53 PM
Hello to all.  I purchased this vase at an antique shop, as I thought it rather simple and elegant.  It is a hand blown piece and it's pontil mark has been polished.  I've no idea on how to date it or figure out it's origin.  There was a larger vase made in the same exact style, but with gold metal handles.  I reckon that the vase with the gold handles might be a clue as to who created the vases.  I'm not educated enough about companies who fused metal to glass.  I hope someone will have some information that will lead me down the right path.
