I bought this jug a few days ago and just liked the colour. It has some wear to the base and the pontil mark is finely ground.
A good shape with a clear glass handle.
A lovely golden yellow and 10" high.
Can any Whitefriars chaps help at all please, 'cos I don't collect jugs or Whitefriars.

Wishful thinking; it's almost certainly Krosno. I have a labelled one and one in a labelled box that are its first cousins. Don't ask me to find them though!

Defono Rosie . :hi:

Thanks Chrisine and JP. Actually, I am not disappointed at all, I really like Krosno glass, and this is a very vibrant colour, and cost £2.....so at least I can use it without feeling guilty!! ;D

Rosie at the moment thats about what a similar W/Fs one would fetch , so you can use it when i visit for Pimms .

I've always said that W/F was overrated. :wsh:
I was going to put flowers in it!!!!!! :o
But Pimms sounds better jp......... ;D
But I don't drink! ::)

Wrong colour of Amber Rosie for Whitefriars and not bright enough for Gold!

Thanks Emmi :angel: ....I know absolutely nothing about Whitefriars glass except I can recognise a Dilly Duck from a mile away.
I even had the cheek to tell Wayne that a Boffo duck wasn't what he was saying it was.....but that was a few years ago before I knew who he was and what a Boffo duck was!!
You good people have taught me a lot since then, and as you never stop learning until you die, I guess I will just have to hang around for a few more years!! :sun:
