Has anyone seen this pattern before? Plain leaf shapes with geometric panels between, some with stippling. Uranium glass; colour looks very Brockwitz. Almost certainly part of a trinket set
-
Hi Christine, good suggestion , brockwitz Set # 5800; see 1931 + 1936 catalogues.
-
Due to small screen now unsure , shall have a closer look after my return :bat:
-
It's a different pattern Pamela. Thanks for looking
-
Christine I saw this blue set listed, looks like a match for your sticks.

Certainly is

Am posting photos of the blue set from the eBay link above in case it eventually becomes redundant.

Does anyone recognise these please. They are very hard to photograph but have stippled panels alternating with plain panels in a curvy yet geometric pattern. They are definitely uranium. The pale green strikes me as Brockwitz like and the mirror-shiny ground base rims strike me as Inwald-like. 13 cm tall, so likely part of a trinket set.

I think... I found 2 family members in my collection. They are rather small, 7 cm. Anne feel free to use the images
-
Yes, they look the same
-
Here are some photos of a blue set which I think is in the same pattern – it shows lidded pots in two sizes and a very distinctive tray.
Although they don’t show up terribly well in the photos, I can confirm that the decorative panels on the tray and pots alternate between stippled and plain.

Nice one Fred
-
Just discovered this photo of a pink tray and lidded pots lurking in the depths of my reference files.
(Permission for the re-use of this image on the GMB granted by Sue Evans).
So, green uranium, amber, blue, and now pink - any more colours, please?
Fred.

Found this last year at a car boot sale. Any info about it would be very helpfull please
-
Your pot is certainly part of a trinket set. It appears on Anne's Glass Trinket Sets site as Mystery #72 - see:
http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=76
The manufacturer would, therefore, appear to be still unknown.
There are photos of a [possibly complete] set in blue glass and a part set in pink glass, but your pot is the first piece from the set that I can recall having seen in amber glass.
I suspect that the pattern dates from some time between the mid-1930s and the mid-1950s, though I have no definitive catalogue evidence to prove it.

Herewith the ring holder in amber..... :)
Anne, feel free to add the photo to the Mystery number 72
-
Sorry.... :( Forgot something...

Does anyone else see a strong resemblence between mystery trinket set 072 http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/displayimage.php?album=76&pid=419#top_display_media and this pattern by Schwepnitz http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Schwepnitz-1936.131+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMzEmcHJvZHVjdElEPTU2OTImZGV0YWlsPQ__.0.html ??
-
I don't think it's similar enough Angela. The leaf shapes are but the lack of other lines on Schwepnitz Maria would bother me.
-
I was looking in particular at the last picture in that catalogue and the bases of the bowls and the small plate which do have extra lines....not exact but similar :)
-
Hi theElench, still a Mystery, and another thread on the set here, Mods may wish to merge.
[Mod: threads merged]

I've only got one of these 13cm. candlesticks. I can't find one the same anywhere but I do think it resembles the style of the Brockwitz pattern 5846 in the 5800 set on GTS. I see there some missing numbers in the 5000's so perhaps it's one of those, or does anyone know the pattern please?
-
I've had them down as Brockwitz? for a long time
-
Thanks Christine, I'm sure it is Brockwitz but until a catalogue image turns up it'll have to remain a mystery. I've added another photo to try and show it better but it doesn't photograph well.
-
This appears to be the same as GTS mystery set #072.
-
It is #072 Nev, may I add your photos to the album please?
-
You are most welcome to Anne and the ones of the ring holder #105. You can use any photos I post, there's no need to ask. :)
-
Thank you, that's very kind of you Nev.
-
Three topics about #072 are now merged to keep all the info together for ease of reference.
-
Thank you for all your work, Anne! :-*
Fortunately I get the automized information regarding merging these topics which brought this pattern back to my screen. Until just now I hadn't seen that image of the matching tray... and immediately Bernard Cavalot's (RIP) mystery blue bowl came to my mind again:
Poland, Stolle Niemen 1923-1935 Tafel 97 item 1752 (https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,157.0.html)
Unfortunately his images of 2004 have vanished - anyone out there who recalls this bowl too?
The catalogue is still unavailable online, I'm afraid.
-
Anne may like to add Christine's pics from post 1 and post 9 to the Mystery Trinket Set #72 page.
