Hi Fred, welcome to the Glass Message Board!

I haven't seen this design before, so I'm not sure if your vase is Sklo Union, but there are more knowledgeable people here who will surely be able to help you.

In the meantime two links with great info:

Hi Micheal

Thanks for that, i have searched high and low. The base is as a Sklo Union vase and i was told someone had seen it in the 2006 Millers Collectables guide. But i have not got a copy so can't confirm this.

Regards
Fred

There is no such thing as a Sklo Union base, though it's true that some (but not all) Sklo Union vases do have what is called a bird birth base, but so do vases from many other manufacturers.

Looks rather similar to one I have from this maker - Lausitzer - , very much the same colour

I was about to write the same, but Emmi beat me to it.  :)
I believe your vase is the one pictured here (http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Lausitzer-Glas-1969.91+B6YmFja1BJRD05MSZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9Mzg4OSZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD05MSZkZXRhaWw9.0.html), on Pamela's Musterbuch site.
