Title: Good quality decanter with mark to base - ID = Kristallglasfabrik Spiegelau

Hi, can anybody help me with this substantial decanter please.
Its a tall decanter, 16" to the top of the stopper, really well made with an 'S' topped with a crown etched to base. When viewed from the bottom the 'S' is reversed, TIA Wolfie

Spiegelau, Stuart or Skruf have all used the crowned S....

Thanks Ivo, I'm fairly familiar with Stuart sigs and I don't think its one of theirs. Ive written an email to Spiegelau asking them. thank you

Hi, I have received a prompt reply from Spiegelau, result!  :)

It reads,

"Thank you for your kind email. I can confirm that this Sherry Decanter out of our line VENUS was produced by Kristallglasfabrik Spiegelau many years ago but the line was discontinued at least 12 years ago and we have no more stock. The decanter was mouthblown and handmade."
