Hi everybody. This is a glass candleholder, which goes through a slab of rock. It is signed on the bottom in script letters. I can't make out the name. The first two letters are likely Fa and there are three tall letters toward the end, something like the word "hill". I found two of these at an estate sale and the owner had no idea where they came from. They were made in 1996
If anybody has any ideas of the maker, I'd appreciate it. The glass itself is interesting. It's purple in incandescent light, blue in fluorescent, and yellow under UV.

Hi Keith. Thanks for the information on the glass. I'm a relative novice so every clue helps in my education. I think I might have seen candleholders like this at an art or craft show somewhere around here (Denver Co). So it could be a local maker. I'm also trying to figure out how s/he made these.
