Title: art nouveau "draped" looking solifleur
Post by: OxfordElla on November 07, 2011, 10:17:00 AM
I think this is art nouveau from the shape and colour, it is approximately 13 inches (33cm) tall. As you can see from the picures it towers above the Arthur Percy examples I have got - I absolutely love it! - can anyone enlighten me further - is it bohemian? (my feeling) also, I am very interested in how this was made - would it have been mould blown and then worked after for the draped look, or would the draped look have been in the mould?

much obliged for all help - please look at my other postings as I am trying to i.d. quite a range of objects - many will be used for my not for profit social enterprise The AIM (the arts in mind) for our christmas vintage exhibition in Oxford to be held on Dec 4th

It's mould blown to create the drapes.
