Hi Folks
I'm struggling to date/catalogue a vase i've got
It's transparent with a green tint, 7 1/2 inches tall and is marked with an emblem with Sevres and France written either side (although can't see in poor picture i took of the base)
(scratches on bottom would indicate some age to it)
However i'm struggling to find any info on it. Anyone know any more?
Cheers in advance

Hi and welcome! :hi:
Somebody who knows the mark might be able to make it out - but I can't!
Could you try dusting a little bit of talcum powder (or fine flour) over the marks, then brush what doesn't stay in the etching off gently with your fingertip, then try photographing it again - perhaps from a little further away, to get it into focus?

It's none of the Sevres marks shown on Great Glass...

A better photo of the mark

A *much* better photo of the mark, thank you and well done! Marks are notoriously hard to get decent pics of.

Indeed. That's a good enough image for publication!

So does anyone have an idea when this was made?

On their website it shows that this etchmark is close in style to their original logo from 1750, which has been changed couple of times. The style of the vase looks 1950s - 1970s to me.
You could email them at cds@cristalsevres.com, and ask whether they know from which period that vase is, or in what years the etch mark was used at the base. But I have no idea how communicative they are about past products... Some companies are notoriously uninterested in their past, sadly.
