I picked this up in a Charity Shop. Usual thing, saw it, liked it, bought it, then spent all day finding out beggar all about it :) Hopefully you can throw some light on the maker please. 21cm at widest and 9cm high. Heavy piece at 1.796g. Green in colour. My camera seems to find it difficult to photograph correct colour, nothing to do with me obviously ! It has a fair amount of wear to the base. Thanks. Pete

Pete my old eyes can't see much at all in tiny pictures like those. Is it possible to resize the original pictures to as close as you can get to 124Kb each. That will represent c. 600x600 pixels and I might have a chance of helping.

Nope! Try again. It took me about five goes to start to get a workable process. It is worth persisting.

The direct link is much more helpful. I suspect it is a Whitefriars of some sort - not a 9099 pattern but similar. It is advisable to show a plain white background for coloured pieces - especially with companies like Whitefriars that used a relatively limited palette of colours. Yours appears to be a pale green - which is found in Whitefriars. An overhead shot on a dark background to show the bubble arrangement might also be helpful. There are plenty of Whitefriars experts on the board who will be able to confirm if it is or not.

I have found the pattern number 4291 that has the same colour and controlled bubble but still no luck on the bowl.

It looks like it to me. I paid £8 for it, a lot more than I usually pay lol. The other two I have posted on here were 1.50 each which is more my price. Amazing there are no chips in it if it is 62yr old. Thanks for all the help. :smg:
