I thought this had a nice art deco appeal and I just love the emerald green color.

nice piece - i vote Czech circa 1930. I have the same - or almost the same - in amber.

Do you really think it's that old? I thought it was a newer piece. The base has no surface marks. I thought it was more 1980's when Art Deco decor came back in vogue.

Always a tricky point - how long did they go on? I'm not aware the panel cut style went on into the fifties, sixties etc. But perhaps it did. Maybe the Desna website will show modern examples....? Anyway condition vs age is another discussion full of pitfalls.

It does look similar to this one: http://desna-glass.cz/www/products-detail.php?id=126
I don't know if the color of mine can attest to any certain time period. Perhaps, if the vase had only one owner, that may explain why there are no scratches on the base. Still, It's hard for me to believe it as old as the 1930's. I wish it was! :-\
