Just showing off this blue charger from Mdina, 37cm in diameter.

Might as well add a link to this charger too: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,36662.0.html
Also below a photo of a third and much deeper example.

:thud:
And the other side is...... ????? :ooh:
It's gorgeous, John. But it's better in real life, I know!
I love the cobalt diluted a little bit and all swirly.

Need smelling salts - I'm swooning with envy now ;D oh dear....not a good National to miss (mind you I'd never have been able to get the two pieces you and Sue have shown - Sue's Sam H I'm referring to). Green with jealousy on both counts - but how wonderful for you both :hiclp:

I'll have to add a pic of my utterly revolting wormy Mdina deep charger then m.
You'll be so glad it's nowhere near you!
-
Please do! I'm having a bit of time doing glass searching and looking at pictures mostly at the moment  rather than real pieces of my own. I can take it ;D

Cheers.
I photographed the back of this one too but it looks better from the front.

Wurrums.
(that's how to pronounce "worms" in a Scottish accent. It's a good word to pronounce in this way!)
and my Rosenthal charger - it's signed.

:-[ :-[ :-[
Much embarrassment. The "Wurrums" charger is WMF, from 1928.
Rocco identified it later on.

Hello all
Do you know for what WMF stands?? ??? ???
Würtembergische Metallwaren Fabrik.... for me it is always funny ;D that a fabric for metal made such nice glasware :-* :D ;D.

Sort of. I know it starts "Wurtem" but then my tongue gets in a tangle and my brain forgets what comes next.
WMF is easier. :-[ ;D
