Isn't this paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=250931285619&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) a Baccarat Dupont weight from the 1920s, rather than from 1840-1900 as described in the advert? The canes look like Dupont, the positioning of the canes low in the dome looks like Dupont, the shape of the dome looks like Dupont...

I quite agree, Alan - and had earlier mailed the seller that I was pretty sure this was a B-Dupont weight.
Seller responded - but insisted it was not a B-Dupont - and even if it were, it would still be an antique weight ... brings us back to the endless discussion on what "antique" means (to different people).
