bought these two together but not sure if they are a pair. the right colour but the larger one is cased at the base and has a different base. look good together any help with id would be great as well.

I believe these are from the Salong range at IKEA, though this colour is now discontinued.

I never thought of IKEA as there isn't one round here, but I suppose things travel! ;D

I would have thought they were made in Sweden, Definately a Swedish design though!!! I think they are really stylish.
Anne, I'm in Ikea ALL the time!! I help my cousin, I do the Kitting out of flats he buys for renting out and Ikea stuff is universally popular!!! I know there ranges inside out!!!

this Chinese glass company also supplies for IKEA and having seen one of their pieces, it looked well made, not a fabulously outrageous design or anything, but you'd have been hard pushed to say from what country it came.

I think you might be safe in saying that some of the food in Ikea is made in Sweden, as for the rest.... Ikea is a company that designs, sources and wholesales, i.e., a brand, not a manufacturer. They even claim that their starting point is price!!
