Title: Glass restoration in the U.S.
Post by: Glass Nisse on November 26, 2011, 09:38:04 PM
Hello everyone. I just purchased a heavy Vicke Lindstrand vase online. It was advertised as having some cloudiness and I was hoping it was just some mild calcium build-up that would be easily to clean, but it has that iridescence that indicates etched or "sick" glass. I have never considered using a restoration service before - does anyone feel comfortable making a recommendation for a reliable service in the U.S? I've reviewed the old posts on this website but they all refer to services in the U.K.

Many thanks,
Glass Nisse
