Hi Helga and welcome to the board :)
It's difficult to tell from your photos but the base dimples remind me of an Aseda vase I had. There is one here that is labelled. However yours is a different shape and I'm not sure if Aseda did the colour of your vase.

I'm sure someone will be along in a while who has more knowledge and will be able to help you :)

thank you for your reply, I saw the one in the picture from retro bazar and the dimples seem to be the same but the shape is different, mine has more of a "waist"
mysterious!

a mystery still...

Hi Hel (and welcome)!
No longer a mystery I´m hoping... ;) Looks like it´s been made by Ingridglas, from their ´Lord Nelson´ range - guestimated somewhere
around the 70´s. Here´s an example on ebay: click me (http://www.ebay.de/itm/DACHBODENFUND-LORD-NELSON-VASE-SCHWER-ROT-GLAS-/150708093765?pt=Glas_Kristall&hash=item2316e70345).
Thanks to Pamela for pointing my nose here again! I read your post some time ago, when I was in a complete hurry and meant to
reply later. Well, better late than never...
Do the measurements fit with your piece? Does it have a ground and polished top rim (like I´d expect from an IngridGlas piece)?
Regards,
Dirk

Thank you!
its definitively the same vase!
and I dont know what ground an polished is per se..(the glass lingo is still new to me) I mean its smooth, is that what you mean?
many thanks
Helga

If the rim is flat and fairly shiny, it is ground and polished. If it is rounded and smooth it is fire/heat polished.
