Hi Everybody, I am helping sell off items from a friends estate. I don't have much information but will try to answser any questions you ask.
I have two heavy 7" by 7" green glass ashtrays that were probably purchased in the 1960's in the south (she lived in New Orleans and South Carolina). They are not exaclty identical, one has a mark that looks like a wire had been pressed into it when still hot, and they have slight dimples but not in the same places on the two. No lines like from a mould. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am supposed to get everything sold off by the end of the month and I hated to sell these at the estate sale for $1. I am fine with you telling me they are cheap and I should have taken the dollar if that is how it ends up.

Honestly & sorry to say thats about all they are worth $1 each. They are not particularly collectible & this type is a mass produced commercial ashtray.
