Title: Is there a name for this pedestal cup on stand?
Post by: RoynMargaret on December 20, 2011, 11:25:29 PM
I bought this pair of hand blown and cut glass cups because I have never seen any like them before. Do they have a name? Are they more common than I thought? Does anyone know ANYTHING about them - age, country of origin/maker, etc?

Each cup is 90mm diameter x 110mm tall.

Compliments of the season to you all  :ru:

If they were in the U.S. we might say some form of Shrimp Cocktails or maybe sherberts which were fairly common from the late 20's into the 60's, but in Europe I don't have any idea.

Bowl glasses, for serving bowl = fruit punch in netherlands and germany, circa 1960s. The saucer is for cherry pips.
