Im wondering whether anyone has seen this style bowl in the past its proving hard to find anything about it ive tried the fine website of pamela on pressed glass but havent seen it as yet and back poppy also, Wonder if anybody has seen it before. It measures 13" diameter and would as there is no recess for a centrepiece think its just a bowl rather than a centrepiece bowl. Thanks for looking.

Hi
I have the exact same bowl and there is a faint "Fait en Belgique" in the centre which means Val St Lambert
If you look crarefully maybe yours has the same mark?
Best wishes Nigel

Val St Lambert was not the only Belgian glassmaker
-
Please fill me in on other Belgium glass makers I am still a novice where some glass is concerned

See here (http://www.hogelandshoeve.nl/index40.html) and then there are others from the 19th century

Thanks for that link it is very much appreciated and very helpful! 8)

Scailmont is another option - I've learned from here that they often marked 'Fait en Belgique' - but they say that not every item marked like that is definitely Scailmont.
Verreries de Scailmont (http://www.artdecoducentre.be/Scailmont.html)
I have got also Brockwitz and Walther and Inwald designs marked with 'Belgian origin' in different ways - all are still a mystery to me.
We had a similar design questioned here many years ago - cannot find that thread again, sorry. At that time we also counted the dots.... maybe someone here recalls the thread?
