Title: Amberina chunky vase with bulbous knobbles
Post by: Margi on January 06, 2012, 08:16:47 AM
Hello I have had this heavy piece of glass for some time now and unable to id.
Its very chunky with a polished flat top that stands on a rather peculiar sized base that has not been finished to a good standard.  It is amberina although the colours have come out too red in the pics.
Does anyone recognize please?

Hi Margi,
nice piece!
It is Czech -- here is one in Dusan's gallery with a Bohemia label (if his attribution is right this should be designed by Jan Gabrhel for Chlum u Trebone glassworks): http://picasaweb.google.com/exat53/Q#5261095943239795410 (http://picasaweb.google.com/exat53/Q#5261095943239795410)
