:hi: Not sure where to post this :ho: Is it a PW, or just and decorative item in a teardrop shape ??
large Glass item about 7 inches tall, and about 3 inches wide at the widest point. It is signed on the bottom but I am not finding anything. Looks like it says *Hiebert* to me.....with some letter in front?? Or maybe it says *Thiebert* too. Not sure. Funny, the writing is actually pretty neat but I am not finding anything...yet. Will try some more...
Any ideas on if this IS a PW, or who the maker is? I bought this before Xmas here at an Auction but only getting to posting it now. thanks :kissy:
Whew....Back to bed for me...

Thanks dirk for that link.....but when I read the description of her glass works (it kinda sounds like she does fused glass) ????
So I am still wondering ???? about this, as I can not find any other examples of her work yet. Name would fit perfectly that is for sure, but from the short description there ...... I am not convinced yet.
What do you think when you read about her work??
.............The thought runs threw my mind that this signed piece was signed by *a lady* as the writing looks much neater than some others. Hate to stereo-type that idea......but just throwing it out there as a thought (IMHO) :spls:

Some artists change their styles from time to time... You could try contacting her. :)

Thanks Dirk!
I did some more digging around here and (I think) it might just be a real local person that might have did this work. I found an Joan (and Al) Hiebert that seems to have some similar looking things on this link. They call them water babies:
See this LINK-HERE (http://www.sccmembershipdirectory.com/type_professional-craftperson/hiebert_joan/hiebert-j.htm)
Where it is mentioned that their Glass studio is -- is maybe about 25 minutes drive away from me. So I am thinking this might be just a local studio glass artist...but if so, it was a Lady. So we were on the same wave length in thinking that.
I bet this other link *might* be the right lady? What do you think? I may try to contact that Joan Hiebert to see IF she can ID this piece. Then it would just be a local Studio glass item....but that is Okay!!
