Title: Cylindrical cased vase with air bubbles and ripple effect surface
Post by: Anne E.B. on January 12, 2012, 09:15:27 PM
This looks very like a Frantisek Vizner design for Skrdlovice, but I'm not too sure.  The exterior surface has a ripple effect and there are numerous trapped air bubbles.
Am I right in thinking that it is at least a Skrdlovice piece?
TIA ;)

I'd say it's Zwiesel.

Edit:  Yup, it's Zwiesel.  Here is a  labeled example (http://www.ebay.pl/itm/Schwere-Uberfangvase-1-7-kg-Schott-Zwiesel-Handarbeit-Sommerso-um-1960-/110773015205?pt=Glas_Kristall&hash=item19ca9612a5#ht_2516wt_858) from ebay.

 :)
