I was just drooling over this vase the whole time the listing was on...I had my fingers crossed I'd win Lotto before it finished LOL

I was looking at that one, too, but knew it would be beyond me. It is a tragic thing to be so poor.  :-\

I know, its so depressing  :cry: As we say over here.... Champagne tastes on a beer budget....

but if you keep looking then occasionally you can get champagne on a beer budget   ;D not often admittedly, but all the more sweet when it happens.
I do wonder whether I would love my glass quite so much if I had unlimited funds to buy with.  Much of the pleasure I have in my glass is being able to find something odd, within a strict budget,  and then research it to death  :)
