Title: Aurene & Carnival Glass Difference
Post by: selina on January 14, 2012, 03:16:17 AM
Can anyone tell me what the main difference between an Aurene plate and carnival glass plate? If I dont have them in my hands... Are there any marigold carnival glass plates that are flat with no patterning?  :help:

Strictly speaking, Carnival Glass should have a moulded pattern. It's possible the item is Stretch Glass. The boundaries between them can sometimes be a little blurred (and there are overlaps), but if you go with the basic premise of Carnival being iridised, moulded glass with a pattern, it should cover most eventualities.

So stretch glass in Marigold not being worth much then? Wondering whether to buy or not...I can't post a pic...
