Title: Dinky Vaseline Jack-in-the -pulpit or posy vase???

A very small 3.1/4" tall the same wide. Has a vaseline bluey sort of glow and a faint stripes also. The base has plenty of wear and a snapped pontil scar. The cranberry type folded rim is nice too is it possible to tell where this maybe from ive seen some described as bohemian but ive gotta say it looks english really any ideas?? :smg:

I've seen this type of decoration from Pantin (Monot Stumpt), someone with more knowledge of this type of glass may be able to help.

Thankyou tigerchips done a bit of googling and not much in terms of pictures on there wares but the pieces ive spotted mainly salts and finger-bowls seem a good match in terms of the opalescent lines and the rich silky colours of the rim etc it does feel a silky piece quite well made!!!!

Sorry, that should be Stumpf and not Stumpt like i spelled it before.

The company had many names so here are a few more words to google, in no particular order....

Cristallerie de Pantin
Stumpf, Touvier, Viollet & Cie
Monot et Cie
Monot
Stumpf & Cie
Monot Pere et Fils & Stumpf
Crystallerie de la Villette

It merged with Legras later on.
